I'm really looking forward to our outing on May 16th at the Renaissance Center. Light Painiting is addictive. Here are a couple of examples. If we get a clear dark night tonight, I will be out "painting" my barn.
Finally, Sue came up with a recipe for making "Orbs" in photoshop. Turns out, Light Painting can produce some cool orbs.
Mike, these are really nice. Congrats on your image placing in Photo of the Month. I thought it should have won 1st place. Very nicely done.
ReplyDeleteMike, These are very good. Great color and focus is right on. I really like the play of the light and shadow.
ReplyDeleteI did not know what an Orb is but now I do and it is a very nice. Good job Sue!! Or did Mike do this one.
Ronal
I did it, but with a recipe Sue found online. Give it a try, it is addictive:
ReplyDelete1. Open your image and keep only one layer
2. Crop it to a square
3. Go to filter, distort, polar coordinates, polar to rectangular
4. Image, rotate, flip vertical
5. Filter, distort, polar coordinates, rectangular to polar
