More from Montgomery Bell

Water reflection of trees across the lake.  I selected the reflection, copied it on a new layer (control j) and transformed the scale, dragging the reflection up to extend it.  A little tonal contrast, glamour glow and a small levels adjustment finished it off.

A shot looking up the trail going down to the lake.  I added a little red with Nik Indian Summer and then, on a mask, painted back in the original colors in the center.

Is that a person lurking in the grass?  Oh yeah, the photographer shooting butterflies

  1. The reflection is fantastic! Now I am going to have to give that a try. May need to watch it being done once or twice, but love the effect.

View up the trail with the reddish outer and lighter center really makes me want to travel up the trail to see what is beyond.

One never knows what may lurk in tall grass 😊

  2. Mike, the reflection shot is really beautiful. Your expertise with PS and your creativity are amazing. Thanks so much for sharing. Cute pic of Susan playing in the grass, too.
